Conference: The U.N. Millennium Development Goals, The Global Compact and The Common Good
Ten major companies along with government officials and leading academics will reflect on sustainability issues in the global economy. A U.N. official spoke on Business Action for Sustainable Development (BASD), a comprehensive network of business organizations chaired by Chad Holliday, chairman of the Bank of America, that have come together under one banner in the interests of sustainable development.

Based on the documentary “No Impact Man”. Students were asked to reduce or eliminate resource impacts each day, such as water and energy consumption.
Annual campus event: Green Summit 2011: Purchasing Power
Students, faculty, and staff came together to have a discussion about consumer choices and sustainable purchasing. Hosted by the Office of Sustainability.
