A brief description of the wildlife habitat program, policy, or practice:
Notre Dame uses animal-safe pesticides and we do not spray around the two lakes on campus. There are several designated Natural Areas around campus including wooded areas around both lakes and other wooded areas on the East side of campus. Bird houses attracting many species of birds are located throughout both golf courses and in parking lots to the North of campus. Additionally, the Warren Golf Course at Notre Dame is designated as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.
