A brief description of the model room:
Technology to set back temperature, turn off lighting and selected power in the room when unoccupied has been installed in 8 dorm rooms at Ryan Hall and 8 dorm rooms at Duncan Hall. Explanations of the technology its benefits were rolled out to the students who occupy the rooms as well as those individuals overseeing the dorm including rectors so that they can relay this information to interested visitors. The systems installed will collect data to help determine if the application has future benefits.
