CurateND is a research portal that allows for the management of student research portfolios on several levels. In response to funding mandates, portal features and the related Center for Digital Scholarship services offer streamlined consultation for the creation of data management plans. Upon deposit, you can select different access privileges and embargo periods that allow you to share research results with groups and regulate access to your works while in progress.

'Each faculty member grants The University of Notre Dame the right to archive, preserve, and make publicly available the full text of his or her scholarly articles through CurateND or the current institutional repository. This provides the University with a nonexclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license to preserve and provide open access to these works. When publisher agreements do not automatically grant permission to archive the final version, faculty members commit to negotiating for such rights. Faculty members will submit an electronic copy of the author’s final version in an appropriate format as soon as practical, respecting the possibility of the publisher’s or author’s requests for embargo.'
