The Office of Sustainability hosts a "Sustainability Seminar Series" whereby any faculty, staff or student can learn about fundamental sustainability principles. The series has been hosted a minimum of three times a year for the past two academic years.
A brief description of any external professional development and training opportunities in sustainability that are supported by the institution :
The Sustainability Minor hosts annually a "Sustainability Across the Curriculum" for any interested faculty teaching a course with a sustainability learning objective or with an interest in teaching sustainability. Staff are welcome to attend as well. An outside consultant comes in to provide subject matter expertise on how to incorporate sustainability learning outcomes into course design.
