The University of Notre Dame co-hosts an annual sustainability course that engages students from other nearby campuses. Students from Notre Dame, Saint Mary's College, and Holy Cross College enroll in the two-credit interdisciplinary class, which rotates weekly among the campuses. The class grew out of a series of discussions among faculty about how they could collaborate to promote sustainable education and is always co-taught by faculty representing each of the involved universities. Office of Sustainability Staff are also involved and lead a tour of Notre Dame's operational sustainability initiatives. (Note: The following article is from the first year of this course, but the course has continued annually as of 2021).
