To refine the five-year action plans, the Standing Committee established small working groups for each of the numbered strategy areas detailed in the recommendations as well as establishing a dedicated communications small working group. These working groups are inclusive, collaborative, interdisciplinary teams that set specific, measurable benchmarks in order to achieve the long-term goals set in each strategy area. In order to increase transparency and public engagement, the work of the Standing Committee and working groups is updated annually through digital reports available at green.nd.edu.
