A brief description of the program(s):
The University of Ottawa has an Institute of the Environment which fosters collaborative research on topics at the intersection of the economy and the environment.
Furthermore, the University is currently developing a Master’s program in sustainable policy development. This program has allowed the university to draw in staff from other institutions that focus on sustainability research.
The University also has various Institutes at the University such as the; Institute of the Environment, and the Centre for Environmental Law and Global Sustainability, which work to advance

There are very few incentives associated with these programs except for the potential to collaborate in an environment focused on sustainability.
In addition, the Sustainable Policy program offers the possibility for faculty members to work with leaders in the field.
