A brief description of the farmers’ market:
The University of Ottawa hosts farmers’ market for the community roughly every two weeks. The market brings in local farmers and vendors to sell their produce to students, staff, and surrounding community members to advance the access to healthy, sustainable foods on campus, while strengthening campus relations in the farm to fork process. The program is run through the Sustainable Development Centre.
