The San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative - USD is a founding member of this organization, which serves as a network for public agencies in the San Diego region to share expertise, leverage resources, and advance comprehensive solutions to facilitate climate change planning. By partnering with academia, non-profits, and businesses, it also works to raise the profile of regional leadership.
USD is also a member of Cleantech San Diego. Cleantech San Diego is a member-based trade organization that positions the greater San Diego region, including Imperial County, as a global leader in the cleantech economy. As a nonprofit organization, Cleantech San Diego is uniquely suited to support the industry by fostering collaborations across the private-public-academic landscape, leading advocacy efforts to promote cleantech priorities, and encouraging investment in the San Diego region.
Finally, USD is an annual participant in the California Higher Education Sustainability Conference. CHESC brings together California Community Colleges, the California State University, the University of California, and private and independent colleges in California to share best practices in campus sustainability efforts.

Climate Education Partners (CEP) is a dynamic, interdisciplinary collaboration of representatives from the University of San Diego, California State University San Marcos, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California San Francisco, The San Diego Foundation, and The Steve Alexander Group. This multipartner team combined expertise in climate science, social psychology, law, policy, and communications.
Climate Education Partners works to share science about the changing climate with regional leaders, working under the premise that with a solid scientific foundation, leaders can make informed decisions on how best to protect the natural beauty, economic vibrancy and quality of life in San Diego, not just for today, but for all future generations.
