All energy and water consumed on campus with the exception of chilled water is metered at the building level. There are instances of smaller out-buildings sub-fed from adjacent buildings where the energy and water consumption is metered at the adjacent building. 19 buildings are served by the central chilled water plant, of these only two are metered. However, the electricity consumed for production and distribution of chilled water is metered separately.
