The Employer agrees that it will not reduce pay or benefits or layoff
any employees (during the usual period of active employment) or
permanent employees in order to contract out the duties normally
performed by members of the bargaining unit;
During the first five (5) years of service, an employee accumulates
fifteen (15) days vacation for every year of service. At the end of five
(5) years of service the rate is twenty (20) days per year. At the end of
seventeen (17) years of service, the rate is twenty-five (25) days per year. At the end of twenty-three (23) years of service the rate is thirty (30) days per year.

The Saskatchewan Labour Relations Board has recently certified graduate student employees as a bargaining unit represented by the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC). All registered graduate students employed by the University as teaching assistants, teaching fellows, student assistants and research assistants will be included in the bargaining unit.
