The Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching Excellence (GMCTE) at the University of Saskatchewan facilitates a course design process for faculty members which integrates a "Sustainability in Higher Education" approach. Additional information is made available to faculty through Teaching and Learning's online support resources.
A brief description of the incentives that faculty members who participate in the program(s) receive:
Faculty who have taken on the sustainability module of the GMCTE's course design process who wish to integrate sustainability into the existing curriculum can apply for grants of up to $1,000. In addition, this funding can be applied for in connection with funding from the university's Curriculum Innovation Fund and the Experiential Learning Fund.
