A brief description of the institution’s employee community service initiatives:
While limited, the university does offer employees paid time off to engage in volunteer hours with some specific events throughout the year. The largest example of this is the university's Graduation Powwow, one of Saskatchewan's largest annual powwows held to honor and recognize Indigenous graduates from the university and secondary and post-secondary schools across the province. University employees are encouraged to volunteer with the event and are given permission to do so during work hours with no compensation penalties.
