Name of the campaign:
- Composting Campaign

A brief description of the campaign:
- Two deep freezers were installed in the College of Medicine and in the Sustainable Garden to encourage and enable the students, faculty and staff members to deposit the vegetable/biodegradable food waste on a daily basis. The food scraps were later thawed and moved into larger recycled compost bins, mixed with microbiomes and then left for curing for a period of two weeks. Thereafter, the compost was shifted to the composting area in the Sustainable Garden for the second phase of curing. After a period of about four weeks, the high-grade soil/compost was used for growing plants within the greenhouse.
