As part of the sustainability initiative to support electric vehicles Solar PV systems (1.5 kW) – Golf Cart Charging Unites were installed on the campus for students, faculty, and staff.
Also, an electric charging station for an electric vehicle is almost ready and will be available in 2021

University of Sharjah’s students and staff are served by two free (no cost) bus services: (1) Sharjah University City bus, which transports students and staff to campus from designated stops throughout the City of Sharjah; and (2) University of Sharjah’s shuttle service, which transport students and staff between the various buildings and campuses inside the University of Sharjah.
Also, we have the following sustainable transportation initiatives:
1. Initiative to launch e-bike and e-scooter rental program at the campus
2. Free shuttle inside the campus as well as free bus service from the city
3. Study to build a park-and-ride facility
