Freshman Seminar program features courses that encourage students to become engaged with campus activities, including sustainability efforts.

For each First-Year Studies course they lead, faculty members receive $1,500 for research support. In addition, participating faculty are encouraged to select course topics that engage students, and they are permitted to schedule class meeting times outside of normal hours.
