The UT Knoxville Facilities Services Department has adopted the following policy prohibiting idling:
No Idling Policy
1. Vehicles are not to be idled for warming/defrosting prior to daily use.
2. Vehicles are not to be idled for any extended period of time at the job site or while otherwise in use unless such idling is required to perform the job at hand.
