A brief description of the certificate program:
Sustainability is about creating a better world for future generations, meeting our own needs without reducing the quality of life for them. In practical terms, this involves reducing our environmental footprint: how much waste we produce, how many resources we use, and other activities that can degrade the environment. This certificate is an introduction to some of the best ways we can reduce our personal footprint as well as the footprint of our institutions, including businesses, schools, and cities.
