Survey Monkey annual license is purchased by the Office of Sustainability to conduct these surveys on a regular interval

Student volunteers offered the survey on ipad to students in the library, Maverick Activity Center, University Center. The survey was also sent out in the campus online newsletter to students and faculty. http://www.uta.edu/ucomm/internalcommunications/mavwire/2012/apr30.php

A brief summary of results from the assessment:
1) About 75% of respondents have participated in recycling program directly or indirectly by recycling. 2) About 59.1% of the respondents did not recycle electronic waste during recycling event in Nov 2011 for following reasons: - They were not aware of the event - They had already discarded electronic waste and had nothing to recycle - They were not present on-campus during event - They had heard about the event but did not know where to go and participate - Didn’t know whom to contact and how to contact for queries 3) 79.5% of the respondents were willing to participate in the shredding event on campus. I
