A brief description of the employee wellness program, policy, or practice:
The University offers a Comprehensive Wellness Program for full-time and part-time employees who are benefits eligible and retirees of the University. This program includes: 1) physical fitness activities and 2) wellness education programs. A variety of University sponsored wellness activities are available such as nutrition counseling, stress management, massage therapy, group exercise, personal training, etc. Recreation activities include walking, jogging, tennis, biking, bowling, swimming, weight training, etc. Members will receive a monthly newsletter designed to be educational and informative. Educational seminars will be held during working hours on a variety of wellness related topics. Membership is not required to participate in the educational seminars. Participation incentives are also available through the program.
