The ECP at Facilities Management shall work with other University departments and outside regulatory agencies to develop and implement procedures to ensure full compliance of the design and execution of the work with applicable codes, standards permitting requirements and other University concerns.

UT Dallas is committed to building energy efficient buildings in a cost effective manner. If the project makes sense to include LEED Certification at any level, it will be considered. The University’s first parking garage opened in the fall of 2013 with solar panels on the roof to power the lights inside the structure.
