The tour is a double-sided brochure available to view or dowload online (go.pacific.edu/sustainability under "Quick Guides"). It also notes where you can find hydration stations, secure bike storage and skateboard racks.

Green living guide

Does the institution produce a guide for green living and/or incorporating sustainability into the residential experience?:
Yes

A brief description of the guide for green living and/or incorporating sustainability into the residential experience:
The Sustaining Pacific website has a Sustainable Living Guide with tips to help students incorporate more environmentally friendly practices into their lives. https://www.archive.pacific.edu/about-pacific/sustainability/take-action/sustainable-living.html

Sustaining Pacific and Residential Life & Housing work together to publish monthly sustainability tips and challenges in newsletters and on social media. The challenges are meant to increase involvement in sustainability programs and sustainability practices. For example, one month the tip was about eating less meat and the challenge was to use the Kitchen Co-op and cook a meal. Those who complete the challenge and post proof on Instagram are entered to win sustainable swag.

Sustaining Pacific also presents regularly to residential life staff to teach them about programs and receive feedback on how to best support sustainability programming. Trainings are at least once per year and sometimes more.

Optional Fields

Sustaining Pacific has a brochure which is given out to all new students during orientation and to returning students/campus visitors during tabling events. The brochure includes informaton about our main programs: Tiger To-Go, Kitchen Co-op, Food Pantry, Robb Garden, Supply Station and Green Team.
