Name of the campaign:
Green Move Out

A brief description of the campaign:
Green Move Out is a collective challenge for students living on campus to clear out their spaces and give back. Students donate their unwanted items at the end of the year to recirculate into the Stockton community. Besides donating their unwanted clothing, non-perishable food, electronics, school supplies and more, students can also volunteer with the program to help organize the collected materials.

A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign:
Green Move Out collected more than 1,000 pounds of clothes in 2017 and 2018 and more than 1,300 pounds in 2020. Hundreds more pounds of bedding and foods have been collected since 2017. Most of the donated items are given to nonprofits in Stockton including Stockton Shelter for the Homeless, Hospice Heart Hope Services and St. Mary's Dining Room. School supplies, books and some electronics are saved and given out to students at the start of the Fall semester. https://www.pacific.edu/about-pacific/sustainability/take-action/pacific-green-team/green-move-out-.html

Once or twice per week depending on office size, a Sustaining Pacific representative picks up compost from the office.
