A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about student commuting:
In spring 2019 an online transportation survey was created. The survey was sent to everyone with a university parking pass via email and advertised on social media. Employees received an email link to the survey via Inside Pacific and students living on campus were also emailed a link.

A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about employee commuting:
In spring 2019 an online transportation survey was created. The survey was sent to everyone with a university parking pass via email and advertised on social media. Employees received an email link to the survey via Inside Pacific and students living on campus were also emailed a link. Emails were also sent to Division and Department heads requesting that they encourage staff to complete the survey.
