Dining Service Operations on the Sacramento and Stockton campuses are contracted out to the same company, Bon appetite. They employ about 112 employees at Pacific.

Waste collection is contracted out on the Sacramento campus. The contractor pays employees a living wage as established by Sacramento County. The Sacramento County living wage is lower than that identified in the MIT calculator.

20% of employees in the lowest pay grade earn the living wage or more. The hourly wages for part-time employees are the same as the full-time employee. Part-time employees that work between 20-30 hours per week are benefit eligible and are provided the same benefits as a full-time employee. Benefits paid by Pacific as part of total compensation include: health benefits, retirement contributions, life benefits and other additional benefits.
