Documentation
Do the figures reported above cover one, two, or three academic years?:
A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :
Pacific Technology provided a course list for 2021 - 2023. Sustainability staff compiled these courses plus those on the online academic catalog, into a shared document. Sustainability staff then emailed Provost, Deans and faculty chairs to request they review the inventory for accuracy and identify sustainability focused or inclusive courses. By email or in person, faculty were provided with the definitions of sustainability, sustainability related/inclusive courses and were given a link to the shared course inventory. They were asked to review the inventory for accuracy of courses offered and indicate the appropriate sustainability course designation if appropriate.
How were courses with multiple offerings or sections counted for the figures reported above?:
A brief description of how courses with multiple offerings or sections were counted:
Courses with multiple sections were counted as one course. If a lab was associated with a course only the lecture portion of the course was counted. Courses that were offered at the undergraduate and graduate level were counted twice.
