Part 1. Greenhouse gas emissions inventory
Yes
A copy of the most recent GHG emissions inventory:
A brief description of the methodology and/or tool used to complete the GHG emissions inventory:
Pacific worked with a third party, Sustainabase, to gather and assess utilities data from all three Pacific campuses from January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023. API was used to automatically pull data from utility accounts (gas, electric, water, waste) with online access. Data from remaining accounts were pulled manually from bills, entered into a workbook that integrated with API data. Sustainabase applied emissions factors as indicated and information is presented through an interactive, internally viewable online dashboard.
Has the GHG emissions inventory been validated internally by personnel who are independent of the GHG accounting and reporting process and/or verified by an independent, external third party?:
No

A brief description of how the institution accounted for its Scope 3 emissions:
EPA Volume-to-weight conversion factors were applied to waste stream, bin size and frequency of pick up to estimate Metric tons of CO2 equivalent for the Sacramento and Stockton campuses. There is not data on how full the bins actually were at time of scheduled pick up.

Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
Emissions cover all three campuses for the 2023 calendar year. Inventory includes emissions from purchased electricity, purchased natural gas and waste disposal. The inventory is not a traditional pdf but an interactive website available to select Pacificans from which a number of reports can be generated. The general vendor website is: http://sustainabase.com/
