Yes
A brief description of the signage that highlights sustainability features on campus:
Our campus uses digital screens to communicate sustainability features such as real-time energy, water, natural gas, and greenhouse gas emissions data. Data is displayed within 4 campus buildings: the Instructional Centre, two residence buildings, and the building engineers’ control room in our Central Utilities Plant. Additionally, all buildings that hold a LEED certification showcase the sustainability features of the building (e.g. the Instructional Building has a ground-source geothermal heat pump).
The Sustainability Office features sustainability related content on digital screens around campus (e.g. waste sorting info), upcoming events, etc.). The Hospitality & Ancillary Department also installed a large printed sign in the main campus eatery that includes information such as our FairTrade designation, waste diversion, reusable container program, campus bees, and increasing plant-based options on campus.
