A brief description of the policies and/or guidelines to improve outdoor air quality and minimize air pollutant emissions from mobile sources:
UVM is covered by Burlington’s ordinance mandating that vehicles not idle for more than three minutes. In addition, UVM passed a Tobacco Free Policy on campus, in July of 2015. As part of the policy cessation programs are also offered at free or discounted costs to help members of the community quit.
