A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about student commuting, including the timeframe for when the analysis was conducted and how a representative sample was reached, if applicable:
Student mode split are based of research assumptions made by a third party consulting firm in the development of the University's Transportation Demand Management Plan (Phase 2). Student residence geocode data shows that approximately 94.9% of students live within 5 miles of Grounds. This was conducted in spring of 2017.
