In this three-course certificate program, you’ll gain an in-depth understanding of the critical issues surrounding the planning and development of sustainable transportation systems. We’ll review policies and programs that promote alternatives to the single occupancy vehicle, including mixed use development and increased population density. You’ll study the environmental impact of different transportation options and investigate the legal and governmental factors involved in sustainable transportation policy.
Wetland Science and Management

In this rigorous, five-course certificate program, we’ll explore the physical, chemical and biological characteristics of wetlands and their many functions. You’ll get in-depth training in identifying, delineating, classifying and evaluating wetlands using plant, soil and hydrologic data.
