A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the inventory:
Western's inventory on sustainability research was compiled by the Centre of Environment and Sustainability (CES). The group represents a portion of researchers from across campus who have self-identified via email as having research interests that focus on or fall within a broad spectrum of subjects related to the environment. These individuals have also self-identified as potential supervisors or advisors for graduate students in the collaborative Environment and Sustainability program.
It is important to note that the list is not comprehensive but representative in nature. It was last updated approximately 2 years ago. CES will be engaging in an exercise to update this list in the coming year.
