Students at Western can be elected to positions on the University Student Council (USC), Society of Graduate Students (SOGS) or as a representative to the Board of Governors (2 undergraduate representatives and 1 graduate representative). There are many other opportunities for students to be involved in other levels of governance at the university, including Faculty Councils or residence councils.
