The Masters in Environment and Sustainability (MES) is a fast-paced, dynamic, course-based interdisciplinary program created for students interested in equipping themselves with the skills and experience needed to become an environmental professional with a potential for leadership. MES students learn to better understand the interdisciplinary and complex nature of environmental problems through course work, group work, professional development workshops and practical work experiences.

The Collaborative Specialization in Environment and Sustainability is an interdisciplinary enrichment program designed for current graduate students (MSc/MA/MESc or PhD) who wish to become specialists in specific aspects of environment and sustainability, and who also wish to gain an appreciation of the interdisciplinary nature of environmental problems and solutions. The student earns a degree in the home department plus credit for participation in the enrichment program.
