UW Oshkosh is subject to the Sustainable Facilities Standards maintained by the State of Wisconsin Dept. of State Facilities (http://www.doa.state.wi.us/dsf/masterspec_view_new.asp?catid=63&locid=4). The Campus Sustainability Plan adopted in 2008 has a section on green construction (http://www.uwosh.edu/sustainability/what-were-doing/documents/sustainability-plan/campus-sustainability-plan-2008-2012). In 2010, the Campus Sustainability recommended, and the Administration adopted, a policy to construct new buildings to LEED Gold standards when feasible.
