Does the institution offer a telecommute program for employees?:
Yes
None
A brief description of the program:
Telecommuting is negotiable between employees and their supervisors. The university supports telecommuting by allowing employees access to portable computers, cell phones and other devices, and allows employees to load some common site licensed software on home computers.
A University-wide survey by the Affirmative Action Office in 2008 (Wisconsin System Climate Assesssment) found that only 16% of employees surveyed disagreed with the statement: "I feel that my supervisor/manager is receptive to accommodating a telecommuting arrangement".
