UWSP Chancellor advocated for the UW System Authority model in the past several years. The model certainly includes sustainability issues – managing operations more efficiently for greater long-term certainty, leveraging resources, purchasing flexibility, building project flexibility, human resource issues (maintaining health insurance), commitment to students, parents and taxpayers.
