1st Campaign

Name of the campaign:
Annual National Campus Sustainability Day

A brief description of the campaign, including how students and/or employees were engaged:
A sustainability information fair is held for students, staff and the general public. Campus departments and community vendors exhibited what they do to create a more sustainable workplace and community. Over 100 students, faculty, staff, and community members attended the event in 2017. Many attendees also created energy pledges at the event through the Wisconsin Center for Environmental Education.

A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign:
The goals set by the Office of Sustainability were the baseline for measuring the positive impact of the campaign. The number of booths/vendors in attendance as well as the number of students and faculty surveying the sustainable practices in the surrounding communities determined that we reached the goal of overall attendance. Using results from Survey Monkey among those that attended showed proof of the overall positive impact.
