Name or title of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
Green Recognition of Offices & Workspaces

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:

GROW is a certification program that recognizes campus offices that serve as leaders in sustainability by lessening their environmental impact of their offices or workspaces. GROW fully launched in Spring 2023 when an Office of Sustainability staff member began marketing the certification program to faculty and staff on campus. Following this marketing, offices and workspaces reached out to pursue the certification. They are then given a checklist to complete that allows them to self-evaluate their office/department. This checklist is then verified by the OoS staff and the certification is then awarded. Through this program, we hope to challenge staff and students throughout UWSP to foster healthier, more environmentally friendly workspaces through individual and collective actions.
