The university has a surplus store and recycling program. Landscape crews informally compost landscape waste. Romney Stadium and the Spectrum began recycling in 2013.

The recycle weights for e-waste, oil, tires, fluorescent bulbs, and batteries, which neither the recycling center nor hazardous waste measure, were estimated to have remained the same since the baseline.
