A brief description of the water metering employed:
Many buildings on USU’s campus have individual water meters to measure the amount of water that goes into the building. Comparing water usage each month to the previous month’s reading exposes large discrepancies, which would indicate leaks or other problems. Both manually and electronically read meters are available. Electronically read meters can be read in real time.
