Name or title of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
Learn to bike workshops
A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
With our diverse student body, one of the major barriors to biking is that students were not taught as children to bike, and in many cases still do not know how to bike. To paliate this challenge, a series of "learn-to-bike" initiatives were offered in the fall of 2022. In total, 4 workshops were offered at level one, and 5 workshops were offered at level two over the course of a two-month period. Although the reach was limited, for many who participated, this made a huge impact on them.
