The report was prepared for the Qualitative Analysis of the Climate Survey Subcommittee of the VCU Equity and Diversity Committee. The Campus Climate Survey included three open-ended questions. A subcommittee of the Equity and Diversity Committee hired a qualitative research consultant who assisted with analysis of responses to these questions.

One of the questions asked was “Please provide any suggestions you have about what can be done to improve diversity at VCU”. The suggestions made were all read and taken into account when drafting the Diversity Plan.
