See the URL below for the comprehensive “Virginia Tech Sustainability Grant Funded Research for FY 2011” list which includes both the departments and faculty that are currently involved in sustainability research. Additionally, Virginia Tech has the Virginia Tech Expertise Database (VTED). The VTED is a volunteer program for faculty to feature their expertise, research, publications, honors, and overall qualifications for public viewing. The VTED is designed to give business, industry, government, and media representatives access to the expertise of participating Virginia Tech faculty members. The database currently indexes 1441 Virginia Tech experts. The VTED can be searched by topic for faculty involved in sustainability initiatives such as “sustainability,” “energy,” “social equity,” and a variety of other topics.
