A brief description of the technology used:
Over the last several years, occupancy sensor lighting controls have been installed in numerous campus buildings either newly-constructed or with significant capital upgrades. For example, WattStopper ceiling mount, dual technology (passive infrared and ultrasonic) occupancy sensors were installed in 152 separate classrooms in 29 campus buildings to provide basic control of all lights on/off in a space depending on occupancy.
