A brief description of the employee wellness program, policy, or practice:
Virginia Tech Employee Wellness: Hokie Wellness is designed to deliver programming and information which focuses on the physical, emotional, social and financial well-being of all University employees. Programs include Weight Watchers At-Work series, QuitNow smoking cessation, Worklife balance, stress reduction, financial wellness, healthy eating, and physical activity campaigns. These programs are disseminated through lunch and learn programs, seminars, webinars, challenges, and online programs, in order to reach all members of the Virginia Tech community.
EAP: Employee Advantage is available to all Virginia Tech employees and family members, including non-benefitted employees. Employee Advantage provides free information, assessment and referral, as well as free counseling services to the Virginia Tech employee community.
