Part 2. Sustainability-focused certificate program

A brief description of the certificate program(s):
The Sustainable Water Infrastructure Management (SWIM) Center at Virginia Tech offers an educational program in Water Infrastructure Asset Management titled “SWIMeD”. The center launched the certificate program in 2018. The Essentials of Asset Management Certificate prepares participants with the skills and know-how needed to address the critical infrastructure asset management demands of utilities, water systems, local governments, and other entities operating in the water industry.
