This is another one of the purposes of the VASHE network. We host quarterly calls and a yearly get-together to share information and support. Additionally, W&L has participated in the Solar Market Pathways (U.S. Department of Energy SunShot Initiative) project with the Council of Independent Colleges of Virginia.

Mentoring is also one of the purposes of the VASHE network. Any new members are encouraged to reach out and visit other campuses. W&L has hosted new sustainability officers either in person or on the phone on several occasions.

Every year since 2017, we host Virginia Military Institute's conservation biology course in the fall to discuss the sustainability programs we have on our campus and ways in which VMI could try to incorporate some of these ideas onto their campus. While this is a very specific engagement and doesn't involve all of VMI, we are still working with another university to share sustainability ideas.
