Has the institution banned or eliminated the on-site sales and distribution of at least one type of single-use disposable plastic?:
Yes
A brief description of the single-use disposable plastics that have been banned or eliminated:
W&L eliminated almost all single-use disposable plastic to-go dining ware last school year (and continues now and into the future). We replaced the single-use plastic to-go ware with biodegradable plastic options that are certified compostable and used in conjunction with our campus composting program/on-site compost facility. The only items we could not replace were salad dressing packets, the cover of individual tea bags, and small creamer cups. (Although we're investigating other options for creamers.)
